Powering On the Device
Only power on the TAG GD700 after connecting all of the peripherals and cabling.
1. Press and hold the power button until the screen lights. The device runs through the start
up sequence and powers up.
Powering Off the Device

Shut down

Desktop screen:
1. Tap and hold
at the bottom left corner of the Desktop screen.
2. Tap
Shut down or sign out > Shut down
.

Both Start screen and Desktop screen:
1. Display menu and tap
Settings
.
2. Tap Power > Shut down.
Installing the Micro SIM Card
The device includes a micro SIM card slot for cellular and wireless connection. Only a micro SIM card
is supported in the slot.
Check with your network or cellular service provider for availability and cost rates.
1. Power off the TAG GD700. See “Powering Off the Device” on page 20.
2. Open the right I/O compartment cover. See “Opening the I/O Compartment Cover”
on page 35.
3. Locate the micro SIM slot in the left I/O parts.
