through its HTTP Web portal.

Getting Started
To configure a Sentinel Pro for the first time and define its IP addresses and IP sockets,
the technician must access its Web portal from a computer connected to the subnet in
which the Sentinel Pro is located.
The Sentinel Pro includes the following default IP values:
Private IP address: 192.168.1.9
Net mask: 255.255.255.0
These initial values can be modified from the Web portal of the Sentinel Pro unit.
After installing and setting up the Sentinel Pro for the first time, the
technician can access the Sentinel’s HTTP interface by using its private or
public IP Address. Use the private address when located within the subnet or
the public address when located outside of the subnet.
To access the Sentinel Pro Web portal:
1
Open a Web browser and enter the IP address of the Sentinel Pro unit in the
Address
bar:
If no IP address has been defined yet for the Sentinel Pro, type the initial
default address. Your computer must be connected to the same subnet as the
Sentinel Pro, and be configured in accordance with the Sentinel Pro net
mask.
If the Sentinel Pro IP addresses are already defined, type the private IP
address if your computer is located within the subnet, or the public IP
address when accessing the Sentinel Pro from outside of the subnet.
