Connecting up
CAUTION
'
Do not turn on the power switch to the TAD-C600 or the other components until all connections have been completed.
'
When connecting components or changing connections, always set the power switch to OFF and disconnect the power
cord from its AC outlet. When making connections, connect the power cord last.
'
For the DC connection between the power unit and main unit, use only the cords provided with the units, labeled “TAD-C600”.
The DC cord furnished with the TAD-D600 CD player cannot be used for this connection.
The accompanying illustration depicts the use of balanced cables.
When connecting to input connectors 4, 5, or 6, and output connectors 3, 4, or REC OUT (LINE 6), use commercially available
RCA cables and plugs.

When connecting the DC
cable, press the cable’s DC
plug into the connector firmly,
then rotate the locking ring to
secure the connection.
* When the analog recording device is
equipped with balanced input connectors,
connect to LINE 3. When using RCA
cables, connect to LINE 6.

1. Use the supplied DC cords to connect the main unit to the power unit.
2. Connect other components.
For information on how to connect other components, consult the
operating instructions for the various components you wish to connect.
3. Connect the supplied power cord to the TAD-C600’s AC IN connector.
4. Connect the power cord to a standard electrical outlet (U.S. model: AC 120 V;
all other models: AC 220 V to 240 V).

Although the power cord to the TAD-C600 is removable, do not attempt to use a power cord other than the
supplied cord.
