Immediately after you close the drawer the CD player

the unit ignores any button-presses.
After this period the screen displays the current operati-
onal mode and the total number of tracks on the CD in
the machine, e. g.:
'STOP 16'
.

Playback begins and the screen shows the operational
state and the number of the currently running track:

At the end of the final track the CD stops playing and the
screen shows

Track selection
During playback
Press the
or
button repeatedly, or hold
the button pressed in, until the number of the track you
wish to play appears on the screen after the

Playback is interrupted briefly when you release the
button; the screen shows

and then the track you
have selected is played.
Note:
You can also enter the number of the track you wish to
listen to directly using the numeric buttons on the remote
control handset.
Repeating a passage (A-B)
The first step is to search for the starting point of the
passage you wish to repeat:
The screen shows a flashing letter
'A'
in front of the
current track number inviting you to set the start marker:
'PLAY
AB 08'
.
Press the
button briefly to set the start marker.
After a short period you will see a flashing letter
'B'
,
inviting you to set the end marker: press the
button again at the end of the passage you wish to re-
peat.
The CD player now repeats the passage between the
two markers until you press the
button.
