Controls and Indicators

3.1

VFD Display

A 20 character by 2 line VFD (Vacuum Fluorescent Display), provides comprehensive
information on the configuration of the unit and current status.

3.2

VU Meters

20 bit Digital VU Meters for monitoring Left and Right audio channels with Peak Hold. The
Meter range is -54dB to 0dB.

3.3

VU Button

Allows the user to monitor either the Input or Output audio via the Digital VU Meters. This
button operates by toggling between the Input and Output audio signals. Each time it is
depressed, it will cause the VFD Display to flash the current selection for 2 seconds.

Please note that if the current Patch Function is set to Dial On Audio, the VU Button will be
disabled since the Input audio is being monitored continuously for activity. The following
message is displayed:

MENU : VU Meters
STATUS : Not Valid

Menu Buttons

Menu Scroll Up / Previous button.

Menu Select / Edit button is used to select the configuration which is to be modified.

NO

Menu No / Cancel button is used to answer No or to abort the configuration change. The NO
button is also used to exit a menu level and return to the level above. Pressing the NO button
several times will always take the user back to the Unit Description display.

YES

Menu Yes / Confirm button is used to answer Yes or to confirm the configuration change.
