Set your computer’s static IP address
The exact steps may vary depending on your operating system.
1.
Disconnect the computer from your local network by removing any networking cables.
2.
In the Windows Control Panel,
double-click Network and Sharing Center
.
3.
In the Network and Sharing Center dialog, c
lick the Local Area Connection
option.
4.
In the Local Area Connection Status dialog,
click the Properties button
.
5.
In the Local Area Connection Properties dialog (Figure below), select
Internet Protocol Version 4
(TCP/IPv4) and click the Properties button
.
