c) “Factory setting” function
You can use this function to restore the factory defaults.
Proceed as follows:
• Briefly press the “MENU” button (3, 31) on the monitor/DVR or the IR remote control to display the main menu.
•
Use the “ ” or “
” button to select the “System settings” submenu and briefly press the “
” button (6, 34).
•
Use the “ ” or “
” button to select the “Factory setting” function and then briefly press the “
” button (6, 34).
•
Use the “ ” or “ ” button to choose between resetting to factory defaults or cancelling the function.
• Confirm the selection by briefly pressing the “
” button (6, 34). The monitor/DVR then switches back to the
previous menu.
• To go back one menu level or to exit the OSD menu, briefly press the “MENU” button (3, 31) on the monitor/DVR or
the IR remote control (multiple button pressed may be needed).
d) “Alarm” function
This function enables you to switch the alarm tone on or off. The alarm tone is triggered if you have selected the
recording upon motion detection (see section 16. c) and the monitor/DVR has detected movement in the wireless
camera detection area.
Proceed as follows:
• Briefly press the “MENU” button (3, 31) on the monitor/DVR or the IR remote control to display the main menu.

” button to select the “System settings” submenu and then briefly press the “

” button to select the “Alarm” function and then briefly press the “

You can now switch the alarm tone on or off using the “ ” or “ ” button.
