Please read the following instructions before operating
your sharpener.
Operating Instructions
1.
Select the desired pencil point sharpness by sliding the
adjustor at the back of the machine. (Fig.1)
2.
Press the safety switch on top of the sharpener
to open the safety shutter.
3.
Insert the pencil until it is engaged by the mechanism.
The motor will start and the pencil will be automatically
drawn into the sharpener. (Fig.2)
4.
When the selected sharpness has been achieved, the
pencil will be automatically reversed out of the sharpener.
5.
The shavings tray can be removed by sliding it out
horizontally from the body of the machine.
6.
This sharpener should not be used continuously for more
than 60 minutes, after which it should be allowed to cool
down for at least ten minutes. Exceeding 60 minutes
continual use will shorten the working life of this machine.
