Safety Features

The sharpener has a safety shutter to help prevent small
children inserting their fi ngers into the sharpener.

The sharpener has a safety interlock that prevents the
machine from operating unless the shavings tray is fi rmly
in place.
●
The sharp edges of the helical blade are shielded to
prevent access by children’s fi ngers. (Fig.6)
Safety Precautions
1.
Adult supervision required. This sharpener is not a toy.
2.
Operate the sharpener on a level surface close to an easily accessible socket outlet.
3.
Disconnect the plug from the socket outlet when the sharpener is not in use,
or during cleaning.
4.
Do not use aerosol products on, or near, this machine. Do not allow water to
enter the sharpener - clean with a moist cloth only.
