Answering Machine
The display on the base station shows the operating state and gives you fur-
ther information:
- -
Dashes steadily on: Answering machine is off.
Flashing: Answering machine is on, date/time not set
(on first use).
XX
Digits steadily on: Number of old (already heard) messages.
Flashing digits: Number of new messages.
LA
Flashing: Remote access in progress (handset or remote
phone)
A1/A2
Playing outgoing message (A1=Answer & Record, A2=Answer
only).
FF
Flashing: TAM memory is full.
Lx
While setting the TAM-volume on the base: x=volume level.
New messages are being indicated by the symbol
in the display of
the handset.

At resetting the base station to the delivery state all own announcements
as well as existing messages will be deleted.
Accessing the answering machine through the base
Through the base station you can turn the answering machine on or off,
playback and delete messages. For the respective function please refer to
the chapter “Operating elements“ in this user guide.
