Supplementary network services
To activate some network functions, you need to send special codes to the network.
Often these codes contain special characters such as
or
. In some cases, the
flash signal is required. You can enter this by pressing
. Contact your network
operator to find out about the specific codes for individual network functions, their
functionality and, if applicable, the associated charges.
CLIP and CNIP services
Your Avena 127/137 supports these services. This means that the telephone number and/
or name of the calling person can be displayed on the handset.
Not all service providers support these services. Also, calling parties may hide their tele-
phone number (so-called anonymous calls). In such cases the telephone number of the
calling party is not displayed on the handset.
Network answer machine
The network answer machine is a supplementary service providing you an answer
machine in the net (voicebox).
Please note that this is a supplementary network service and subject to availability from
your service provider. Please ask your service provider also about any charges/costs as
well as a full description of the service functionality.
Your Avena 127/137 supports this service by providing a quick dial function assigned to
the
-key. When you press this key for 2 seconds (long-press) the telephone number
of this network answer machine is automatically dialled.
Note
In order to control this network answer machine (play messages, record an
outgoing message, activate/deactivate the mailbox, etc.) you must send
appropriate control codes to this network answer machine. Ask your service
provider for details.
