Display and symbols
The handset display provides easy-to-understand information on the current status of
your telephone. The meaning of the symbols shown in the upper part of the display is
as follows:
A
Arrows up/down: For scrolling in the menu.
B
This antenna symbol is permanently lit if a radio connection between handset
and base station exists. A flashing symbol shows that the handset is almost
outside of the range of the corresponding base station.
C
You have pressed the talk key.
T
If the symbol is displayed, you have activated the answer machine.
If the symbol is flashing, you have received new messages.
F
The ring tone has been switched off (“do not disturb”).
G
The microphone is switched off (“mute”).
H
The keypad has been locked.
I
Charging status of batteries. Symbol with 3 segements means “batteries
full”, with 1 segment “batteries reduced” and with no segment “batteries
almost empty”.
