To switch on the pager again, press any key for some seconds. The
logo or an identification text is displayed, the vibrator is activated for a
short time and the background illumination is turned on. At the end of
the start up procedure, a control beep can be heard. The pager dis-
plays the main menu or the newest message if the simple mode is
configured. Afterwards the pager changes over to the standby mode.
6.4.2 Bold font on/off or choose character set
To display messages in an easy legible bold font, choose the special
menu in the main menu with the upper key (1) and with the lower
key (3) the function “Bold font on/off”, and confirm it with the middle
key (2).
To change back to the normal font, just repeat the same steps.
In some cases the function is used to change the character set.
6.4.3 Selecting the menu language
Select the function menu language in the special menu and confirm
it with the middle key (2). Press the lower key to select one of two
languages. Press the upper key (3) to return to the main menu.
6.4.4 Status information
To display the status information, select the function status information
in the special menu and confirm it with the middle key (2). (See
