Maintenance: Import / Export
The Maintenance: Import / Export
menu allows you to
import or export your current configuration settings. This will
come in handy as it will save you time if you have to reset the
DVR back to factory default settings.
To export your current configuration file, select the backup
device from the
Device Name
dropdown list. Click
New
Folder
to create a new folder or
Format
to format the backup
device. Click
Export
to export the configuration file to the
backup device.
To import a previously saved configuration file, select the
backup device from the
Device Name
dropdown list. Select
the configuration file - it will be called
devCfg_(serial
number)_(year/month/time).bin
, then click the
Import
button. After the configuration file has been imported, the
DVR will reboot automatically.
