Manual setting:
Use the arrow buttons and to set desired temperature, the temperature will flash under the settings. If the chosen
temperature is higher than the actuell temperature the heat indicator will be shown .
Example: If the temperature is set for 35 C and you change desired temperature (with the arrow buttons) to 40 C,
the new setting (40 C) will flash for a few seconds and then go back to 35 C. The heat indicator will now start to show
in the lower right corner and will disappear when the temperature has reached 40 C.
NOTE: Depending on the towel rail and its design the temperature can be lower in the lower parts of the towel rail than
in the other parts. This is an entirely normal phenomen!
NOTE: Not to be mixed up with air pockets arised when filling the towel rail.
Anti-Freeze function:
The electric element is equipped with a so called "Anti-Freeze function". This means that if the electric element is switched off
and the temperature goes down to 6C, the electric element will start automatically to prevent a risk of freezing.
In this case the display will show AF (Anti-Freeze).
NOTE: The Anti-Freeze function will only work if there is power to the electric element. This is provided that
the electric plug has not been pulled out or the power has not been switched off. However, the electric element
may well be in Off-position.
Manual quick-dry function:
This drying function is a quick-choice to dry the towels during a limited time with a predetermined temperature (50C).
You can change the temperature by pressing the arrow buttons.
To activate the quick-dry function press once and 2H will be shown in the display. The electric element
will now heat to the temperature 50C for 2 hours and then return to the original settings. It is possible to extend
the time of drying with 30 minutes for each press of the button up to 4 hours. When the drying function is activated the
remaining time is shown in the left lower corner. It is possible to at any time stop the function by pressing once.
Then the electric element is completely switched off. To return to the original settings press once again.
The function is superior to all previous settings.
Timer function:
Read through the timer function before you start programming.
The timer has 4 time intervals; T1, T2, T3 and T4. These intervals are individual and can be set after your own desire.
When programming the timer function will automatically return to the manual setting after
10 seconds
if you don't
press any button. If this happens, your own settings will however remain in the memory of the electric element.
Then please start from the beginning and confirm earlier settings until you come to the position where you were
interrupted earlier.
When the timer function is put in the "On" position, it's the timer function which controls the electric element 24 h/day.
To deactivate the timer function and activate the manual settings of the electric element, the timer needs to be put in
the "Off" position.
We have chosen to show the 3 most usual settings.
