1K-3 Exhaust System:
• Install the exhaust pipe gasket (2) and connector (3).
CAUTION
!
Replace the gasket and connector with new
ones.
• Tighten the exhaust pipe nuts (4) and muffler
connecting mounting bolt (5) to the specified torque.
Tightening torque
Exhaust pipe nut (b): 23 N·m (2.3 kgf-m, 16.5 lb-ft)
Muffler connecting bolt (c): 23 N·m (2.3 kgf-m,
16.5 lb-ft)
Exhaust System Inspection

Inspect the exhaust pipe connection and muffler
connection for exhaust gas leakage and mounting
condition. If any defect are found, replace the exhaust
pipe assembly or muffler with a new one.
Check the exhaust pipe nuts (1), muffler connecting bolt
(2) and muffler mounting bolts (3) are tightened to their
specified torque.
Tightening torque
Exhaust pipe nut (a): 23 N·m (2.3 kgf-m, 16.5 lb-ft)
Muffler connecting bolt (b): 23 N·m (2.3 kgf-m, 16.5
lb-ft)
Muffler mounting bolt (c): 23 N·m (2.3 kgf-m, 16.5 lb-
ft)
