Tire pressure
If the tire pressure is too high, the motor
cycle will tend to ride stiffly, have poor
traction. Conversely, if the tire pressure is
too low, stabi l ity w i l l be adversely affected.
Therefore, maintain the correct tire pressure
for good roadabil ity and to prolong tire life.
Cold inflation tire pressure

The standard tire fitted on this motor
cycle is 2.25-14 4PR for front and rear.
The use of a tire other than the stan
dard
may
cause handling instability. It
is highly recommended to use a
SUZUKI Genuine Tire.
Tire tread condition
Operating the motorcycle with the excessive
ly
worn tires will decrease riding stability
and consequently invite
a
dangerous situ
ation. It is highly recommended to replace
the tire when the remain ing depth of tire
tread reaches the following specifications.

After a long period of use, the transmission
oil qualities wi l l deteriorate and quicken the
wear of sliding and interlocking su rfaces.
Replace the transmission oil periodically
following the procedure below.
•
Start the engine to warm up the oil, this
will facil itate draining of oil.
•
Unscrew the oil fi ller cap and drain plug,
and drain the oil completely.
•
Tighten the drain plug.
•
Supply a good quality
SAE 20W/40 multi
grade motor oi I.
Capacity

Check the oil level with the oil level
screw.
