OPERATING YOUR VEHICLE
84MM6-01E
CAUTION
If the low tire pressure warning light
is lit or blinked, the tire pressure may
be low or the TPMS system may have
an abnormal condition. If the light is
lit, park the vehicle at a safe place as
soon as possible and inspect your
tires.
The TPMS system does not operate
properly in the following situations.
• The tire other than the ones speci-
fied or installed during the vehicle
assembly is used.
• A temporary tire or tire chain is
used.
• The tire repaired using the punc-
ture repair kit is used.
• When driving on the gravel road,
the extremely rough road, the slip-
pery road such as snow and ice.
• Extreme load or unbalanced load is
applied on the vehicle.
• Rough steering, rapid acceleration
and rapid deceleration are
repeated.
• Towing a trailer, etc.

CAUTION
(Continued)
If the tire pressure is dropped, the
outer dimension of the tire would
become small and the tire rotation
speed during driving would be differ-
ent compared to the other tires. In
this case, the system detects the dif-
ference and judges indirectly that the
tire pressure is dropped. Due to this,
the system cannot detect the condi-
tion if the tire pressure was dropped
while not driving such as the parked
condition.
The system does not operate prop-
erly in the following situations. The
light may not illuminate or blink even
if the tire pressure is dropped. Also
even if the tire pressure is at the nor-
mal condition, the light may illumi-
nate or blink.
• The initial setting is performed
when the tire pressure is not at the
specified pressure.
• With the specified size (refer to the
tire pressure label on the tire infor-
mation label), when the sizes,
brands and tread patterns are dif-
ferent or the wear condition differs
significantly on all 4 tires.

CAUTION
(Continued)
• The tire pressure is extremely high
compared to the specified tire pres-
sure, or the tire pressure is
dropped rapidly due to burst while
driving.
Other than those above, if the light
illuminates or blinks while driving
even after the tire pressure is
adjusted to the specified tire pres-
sure, or the light does not turn off
even after initialization is performed
by pushing the TPMS reset switch,
the TPMS system may have an abnor-
mal condition. Please have the vehi-
cle inspected at a SUZUKI dealer.
