• Apply thin coat of the engine oil to the new fuel injector cush-
ion seal

, and install it to the fuel injector.

• Install the O-ring

to the fuel injector.
• Apply thin coat of the engine oil to the new O-ring

• Install the fuel injector

by pushing it straight to the delivery
pipe

NOTE:
Align the boss

of the injector with the groove

of the delivery
pipe.

• Install the fuel delivery pipes

along with the fuel injectors.

• Tighten the fuel delivery pipe mounting screws to the speci-
fied torque.
&
Fuel delivery pipe mounting screw:
3.5 N·m (0.35 kgf-m, 2.5 lb-ft)
• Apply thin coat of the engine oil to the new O-rings.

• Install the fuel delivery pipe joint hose

to the delivery pipes.
• Tighten the fuel delivery pipe hose mounting screws to the
specified torque.
&
Fuel delivery pipe joint hose mounting screw:
3.5 N·m (0.35 kgf-m, 2.5 lb-ft)
Replace the cushion seal and O-ring with the new
ones.
Never turn the injector while pushing it.
Never turn the fuel injectors while installing them.
Replace the O-rings with the new ones.
