SWD050 Inclusive Roundabout
Outer Gap Adjustment Instructions
To gain access underneath the roundabout for adjustment,
first remove the 4 countersunk screws from the centre pole
and remove it.
Secondly, remove all of the security screws on the outer
legs on the handrail, and the 4 holding the bump stops
in place (leave the screws in the inner legs otherwise the
handrail will come off the roundabout altogether). This will
disconnect the decks and handrail from the frame.
Once all the outer security screws
have been removed, the deck and
handrail assembly can be lifted off
the frame in one piece.
There are two ways to adjust the
roundabout for smooth running. The
guide wheels can be ajusted and
the outer rings can be adjusted.
First check the track and wheels.
Ensure the track is clean and free
from debris and the wheels are in
good condition and running freely.
It's important that the roundabout
is held centrally on the track. If it is
not then adjust the guide wheels.
The guide wheels are fixed to the
frame with a slotted bracket. By
loosening the two M10 bolts, the
guide wheels can be adjusted as
required to ensure the the rounda-
bout is held centrally on the track.
If after checking the wheels, the
roundabout is still rubbing on the
outer ring or the gap is larger than
8mm the outer rings can be adjust-
ed.
