Step 7: Attach Bow & Stern Tiedowns
•
Push the lever down to release the rope and lengthen the distance between the hooks (Fig. 11)
•
Attach one hook to a secure point near the bow of the watercraft. Attach the other hook end to the
metal frame of the vehicle. Tighten by pulling on the loose end of the rope.
•
Repeat for the stern of the watercraft. (Fig. 12)

The Bow & Stern tiedowns must connect to metal not plastic on the vehicle.
