Step 1.
Preload the roller 2 full revolutions by rotating the canvas and roller toward
the crossbars/Aft of the boat. Canvas and roller need to rotate together.
a. Stand behind the roller facing the front of the boat and grab the canvas
and roller with both hands. (See Figure 16)

b. Grip and rotate the roller and canvas towards you. (See figure 17a. and
17b.)
