Auto 2-Way Applications
Many Internet applications always connect to an outside server with a fixed destination port, (like
Messenger, On-Line Gaming and VoIP devices), so the server will communicate with the
application in the LAN by using a predefined incoming port (or a specific range of incoming ports).
The Wireless Router can provide a automatic mechanism to support such kinds of applications.
You can enable this function, choose well-known applications from the list, select its ID then press
“copy to” to perform this function.
Otherwise you can type in trigger port and incoming ports to enable this function . Trigger Port is
the port where the application sends a packet to. Each trigger port is used by only one LAN PC at a
time. Incoming Ports are ports where all the incoming packets are allowed to pass.
