Active Processor Cores
Set to Enabled to use a processor's Second Core and beyond. (Please refer to
Intel's website for more information.) The options are
All,
1, and 2.
Intel® EIST Technology
EIST (Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology) allows the system to automatically
adjust processor voltage and core frequency in an effort to reduce power consump-
tion and heat dissipation.

The options are Disable (Disable GV3) and
Enable (Enable GV3)
.
Intel® TurboMode Technology
Select Enabled to use the Turbo Mode to boost system performance. The options
are
Enabled
and Disabled.
Intel® C-STATE Tech
If enabled, C-State is set by the system automatically to either C2, C3 or C4 state.
The options are Disabled and
Enabled
.
C-State package limit setting
If set to Auto, the AMI BIOS will automatically set the limit on the C-State package
register. The options are
Auto
, C1, C3, C6 and C7.
C1 Auto Demotion
When enabled, the CPU will conditionally demote C3, C6, or C7 requests to C1
based on un-core auto-demote information. The options are Disabled and
En-
abled.
C3 Auto Demotion
When enabled, the CPU will conditionally demote C6 or C7 requests to C3 based
on un-core auto-demote information. The options are Disabled and
Enabled
.
Clock Spread Spectrum
Select Enable to use the feature of Clock Spectrum, which will allow the BIOS to
monitor and attempt to reduce the level of electromagnetic interference caused by
the components whenever needed. The options are
Disabled
and Enabled.
