5-6 Installing Memory
1. M e m o r y s u p p o r t
The P4SGR/P4SGE has three DIMM slots that support both double-sided
and single-sided non-ECC unbuffered PC2700/2100 (DDR-333/266) low-
profile SDRAM for a maximum of 2 GB main memory.
2. Installing memory modules
Insert each memory module vertically into a DIMM slot. Pay attention to
the notch along the bottom of the module to prevent inserting it incor-
rectly. Gently press down on the DIMM module until it snaps into place in
the slot (see Figure 5-5).

CAUTION! Exercise extreme care when install-
ing or removing DIMM modules to prevent any
possible damage.
To Install: Insert module vertically and press down until it snaps into
place. Pay attention to the bottom notch.
To Remove: Use your thumbs to gently push each release tab outward
to free the DIMM from the slot.
