Installing Add-On Cards (Figure 6-15)
1. Disconnect the chassis from any power source, lay the chassis on a fl at
surface, and open the chassis cover.
2. Pull out the motherboard node drawer from the chassis.
3. Pull open the expansion card PCI slot clip in the rear of the motherboard
node drawer.
4. Remove the PCI slot shield.
5. Place the expansion card into the motherboard node drawer.
6. Slide the expansion card into the rear riser card PCI slot and fi t the expansion
card bracket with the opening in the rear of the motherboard node drawer.
7. Close the expansion card PCI slot clip.
8. Close the cover, reconnect the power supply and power-up the chassis.
