TPM Header
The JTPM1 header is used to connect
a Trusted Platform Module (TPM), avail-
able from a third-party vendor. A TPM is
a security device that allows encryption
and authentication of hard drives. It en-
ables the motherboard to deny access if
the TPM associated with the hard drive is
not installed in the system. See the table
on the right for pin defi nitions.

LVDS header
Low-Voltage Differential Signaling
(LVDS) is an industry-standard electrical
signaling system. This signaling system
can run at very high speeds over inex-
pensive copper wires using low power.
The LVDS bus on the X9SCAA moth-
erboard is used to transport video data
from the built-in graphics engine to a
compatible LCD display. Please see
the table on the right for pin defi nitions.
X9SCAA motherboard series supports a
single channel LVDS with 18 & 24 bpps
color depth.
