USB Wake-Up
Use JPUSB to enable or disable
USB Wake-Up, which allows you
t o w a k e u p t h e s y s t e m b y d e -
pressing a key on the keyboard or
by clicking the mouse when either
is connected to the USB0 or USB1
port. This jumper is used together
with the USB Wake-Up function in
BIOS. Enable both the jumper and
the BIOS setting to allow the sys-
tem to be woken up. See the table
on the right for jumper settings.

Watch Dog Enable/Disable
JP4 enables controls the Watch
Dog function. Watch Dog is a sys-
t e m m o n i t o r t h a t t a k e s a c t i o n
w h e n a s o f t w a r e a p p l i c a t i o n
freezes the system. Pins 1-2 will
have WD reset the system if a pro-
gram freezes. Pins 2-3 will gener-
ate a non-maskable interrupt for
the program that has frozen. See
the table on the right for jumper
settings. Watch Dog must also be
enabled in BIOS.
