2. Certificate Signing Request (CSR): 

This window allows you to define the Cer-

tificate Signing Request (CSR) form. The IPMI  uses the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) 

protocol  for  encrypted  network  traffic  between  itself  and  the  remote  host  servers. 

When a connection is made, the IPMI has to expose its identity to a remote host by 

using a cryptographic certificate. 
To create a certificate that is unique to a particular IPMI card or SIMLC/SIMLC+ card, 

a certification authority (CA) needs to fill out the CSR form indicated in the CSR win-

dow above and click "Create" to generate it.
