Chapter 3: Maintenance and Component Installation
Installing a 3.5" Storage Drive
1. If you are replacing a drive, unplug the power and data cables.
2. Press the release tab on the side of the drive carrier and slide the carrier out of the
drive cage.
3. If you are replacing a drive, remove the drive from the carrier by pulling the sides of the
carrier outwards.

4. Insert a new drive into a drive carrier by snapping it in.
5. Slide the drive assembly into the drive cage until it clicks into a locked position.
