Chapter 3: Maintenance and Component Installation

Removing the Heatsink

Note: 

We do not recommend that the CPU or the heatsink be removed. However, if you must 

remove the heatsink, follow the instructions below to avoid damage.

1. Remove power from the system as described in Section 3.1. 

2. Loosen the screws evenly and gradually in the order above.

3. Gently wriggle the heatsink to loosen and remove it. Do not use excessive force.
