Chapter 3: Maintenance and Component Installation
Motherboard Removal
The motherboard is mounted on a tray that slides out the rear of the chassis.
1. Power down the system as described in Section 3.1.
2. Remove the power supply modules, the power supply cage and the power distributor
board as described in previous sections.
3. Remove all fans from the fan housing. Remove the fan housing by removing the screws
from both sides and slide it out toward the rear of chassis then lift up.
4. Remove the screws on both sides and slide the motherboard tray out.
