2.4 Assembling the Cable Management Arm
The SC946E1C chassis supports a cable management arm (CMA) which helps to keep the
cables organized and clear of the rack and rail mechanisms. The swing arm functionality of
the cable management arm keeps the cables clear while maintenance is being performed
on the system.
Prior to using the cable managment arm for the first time, remove the loop strap which
secures the cable arm during transport. The loop strap is made of thin plastic which can be
easily cut scissors.
