7-4 Boot Confi guration
Use this feature to confi gure boot settings.

Boot Device Priority
This feature allows the user to specify the sequence of priority for the Boot Device.
The settings are 1st boot device, 2nd boot device, 3rd boot device, 4th boot device,
5th boot device and Disabled.
1st Boot Device - [SATA: XXXXXXXXX]

Hard Disk Drive, CD/DVD-ROM Drive, Removable Drive
This feature allows the user to specify the boot sequence from all available hard
disk drives. The settings are Disabled and a list of all hard disk drives that have
been detected (i.e., 1st Drive, 2nd Drive, 3rd Drive, etc).
1st Drive - [SATA: XXXXXXXXX]

Retry Boot Devices
Select Enabled to enable Retry Boot Devices support to allow the system to attempt
to boot from a specifi c boot device after a boot failure. The options are Enabled
and
Disabled
.
7-5 Security Settings
The AMI BIOS provides a Supervisor and a User password. If you use both pass-
words, the Supervisor password must be set fi rst.
