5-2 Removing Power from the System
Before performing some setup or maintenance tasks, use the following procedure
to ensure that power has been removed from the system.
Removing Power from a Node
1. Use the operating system to power down the node.
2. Pull the node handles down and out to slide the node out the chassis rear.
Removing Power from the System
1. Use the operating system to power down all nodes.
2. Grasp the head of the power cord and gently pull it out of the back of the power
supplies.
3. Disconnect the cords from the power strip or wall outlet.
