Type
This option allows the user to select the type of IDE hard drive. Select
Auto
to
allow the BIOS to automatically configure the parameters of the HDD installed
at the connection. Select User to allow the user to enter the parameters of the
HDD installed. Select CDROM if a CDROM drive is installed. Select ATAPI if a
removable disk drive is installed.
Multi-Sector Transfers
This item allows the user to specify the number of sectors per block to be used
in multi-sector transfer. The options are
Disabled
, 4 Sectors, 8 Sectors, and
16 Sectors.
LBA Mode Control
This item determines whether the Phoenix BIOS will access the device installed
in the slot specified in the LBA mode. The options are Enabled and
Disabled.
32 Bit I/O
This option allows the user to enable or disable the function of 32-bit data transfer.
The options are Enabled and Disabled.
Transfer Mode
This option allows the user to set the transfer mode for the slot specified. The
options are
Standard
, Fast PIO1, Fast PIO2, Fast PIO3, Fast PIO4, FPIO3/
DMA1 and FPIO4/DMA2.
