2.2 Accessing the System
The SCE301 features a removable top cover to access the inside of the chassis.
Removing the Top Cover
1. Power down the system as described in section 2.1.
2. Remove the four screws that hold the cover in place.
3.
Lift the cover up and off the chassis.
Caution:
Except for short periods of time, do
not
operate the server without the cover in
place. The chassis cover must be in place to allow proper airflow and prevent overheating
.
