To Install: Insert mod-

down until it snaps into

To Remove: Use your
thumbs to gently push
each release tab outward
to free the DIMM from the
slot.
Memory Support
The X7DBE supports up to 32 GB of ECC FBD (Fully Buffered DIMM) DDR2-667 or
ECC FBD DDR2-533 SDRAM. The memory is an interleaved confi guration, which
requires modules of the same size and speed to be installed in pairs. You should
not mix DIMMs of different sizes and speeds. See Figure 5-3 for installing and
removing memory modules.
Note : Due to OS limitations, some operating systems may not show more than 4
GB of memory.
