NSTALLATION
Locate the burner gasket provided, bolt the burner in place on the tube flange with provided
hardware.
Burner must never be installed in a tilted position.
The sense electrode of the burner
cup should be in the 12 o’clock position (Figure 10).

If required for your heater model (refer to Table 1), install the baffle at the end of the heat
exchanger. The small tab on the baffle is folded over the end of the tube and clamped in place by
the vent connector and vent system, refer to Figure 11.
Note:
Baffles are always placed at the end of the last heat exchanger tube length, with the
exception of the special configuration 205,000 BTUH with a 50' tube length, refer to
Figure 3
for more details.
Note:
Baffles are either one or two sections (each section is 6' in length). Multiple sections are
simply clipped together. Where stainless and aluminized sections are supplied, always
place the stainless steel section closest to the burner. The easiest installation method is to
pull the baffle through the tube using a long wire.
