5.1 General electrical connection procedure of
NTX inverter
The DC input from the PV arrays and the output to
the AC utility grid connect to the inverter inside the
NTX inverter case. AC, DC and COM knockouts are
provided on the bottom of the NTX inverter.

WARNING
The AC and DC knockouts are sized for 1 in. con-
duits, and the communication knockouts are sized
for 1/2 in. rigid conduits. Do not enlarge the knock-
out holes because this will result ingress of water
and damage to the inverter.

WARNING
In order to tighten correctly the screw terminal of
the inverter, Pin Definition applied, AWG size, tem-
perature and torque listed in the following tables.
The restrictions on minimum AWG value are due
to cable gland. The resteictions on maximum AWG
value are due to National Electric Code (ANSI/NFPA
70).
