Electrical connection
WARNING
The electrical connections must be connected only
after the NTX inverter is firmly mounted to the wall.
WARNING
The connection of NTX inverter to the electrical dis-
tribution grid must be performed by qualified and
trained personnel and only after receiving authori-
zation from the utility that operates the grid.
WARNING
For a step-by-step description of the correct proce-
dure, please read closely and follow the instructions
provided in this section (and its subsection) and all
safety warning. Not complying with the instructions
that follow can lead to hazards and possible injury
to personnel and/or equipment damage.
WARNING
AC side field wiring should be secured away from
DC side field wiring.
WARNING
Always respect the normal ratings of voltage and
current defined in section “10 Technical data”, see
page 45 when designing your system. Please
observe these considerations in designing the PV
system:
· Maximum array DC voltage input to each MPPT
circuit: 550 V DC under any condition.
· Maximum array DC current input to each MPPT
circuit: 17.5 A DC under any condition. For NTX
6000 models, 14.5 A DC under any condition,
for NTX 5000 models, 11 A DC under any condi-
tion, for NTX 4000 models, 17.5 A DC under any
condition, for NTX 3000 models (only one MPPT
input).
WARNING
On the AC output side an AC breaker/disconnected
should be inserted between the NTX inverter and
the distribution grid. On the DC input side NTX
inverter has an optional integrated DC disconnect.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of fire, connect only to a circuit
provided with maximum branch circuit over current
protection in accordance with the National Electric
Code (ANSI/NFPA 70).
