Troubleshooting

Overview of Quality and Test Codes

The columns labeled

Test Code

and

 Quality Code

are used extensively in your data editing

decisions. These codes indicate various technical attributes of the BP reading that you should take
into consideration when making a decision to "tag" or "untag" a BP reading. It is possible to have
both a

Test Code and a Quality Code

on the same BP reading.

Remember, Test and Quality Codes do not automatically indicate that a reading is invalid;
they only serve as guides to help you edit data.
