System Decommissioning
8.1
Disconnecting the Converter
For maintenance or other service work, the converter must be switched off.
Please follow the instructions below to disconnect the converter and DC power supply.
Failure to do so may lead to equipment damage or result in death or injury.
Step 1
Disconnect the external DC breaker and spin the DC switch of the converter to "OFF".
Step 2
Wait for at least 5 minutes for the internal capacitors to be completely discharged.
Step 3
Use a current clamp to test the DC cable and confirm that there is no current.
Step 4
Dismantle the DC connector.
Step 5
Dismantle the Ethernet and communication connector.
Step 6
Install waterproof plugs for all the terminals.

Risk of burns and electric shock!
Do not touch any inner live parts until at least 10 minutes after disconnecting
the converter from the downstream equipment.

Users take the responsibility for the disposal of the converter.
