TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE
4 ) The cooling
power switch
is turned on, but
the compressor
is not starting up.
- 7 -
1)
Check if the power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet. Check that power is supplied to the outlet.
2a) If a high quantity of cold water was previously poured from the taps, it may take a few minutes for cold
water to come out of the taps.
2b) Check that there is sufficient ventillation around the unit: at least 6”/15cm of space at the back,
2”/5cm on each side.
2c) Check that direct sunlight is not in contact with unit, thus warming up the water bottle. The unit should be
placed in a shady, cool place.
2d) Plug may be loose - make sure the switch is “ON” and the power cord is firmly plugged in.
3a) If a high quantity of hot water was previously poured from the taps, it may take a few minutes for hot
water to come out of the taps.
3b) Plug may be loose - make sure the switch is “ON” and the power cord is firmly plugged in.
4a) Check if the power cord is plugged in properly.
4b) If the water dispenser is brought in from outside in the winter time, give it a few hours to warm up to room
t e m p e rature before plugging it in. The thermostat setting may be affected by the coldness of the water dispenser
itself or the bottled wa t e r. If the ambient (room) temperature is lower than the thermostat setting, or the water
dispenser itself is cold, then the compressor will not start up.
5)
Check if the water dispenser sits on a level surface without rocking. If the water dispenser is noisy after
it’s first use, unplug the water dispenser for thirty (30) minutes, then start it up again. Make sure there is
sufficient space around the water dispenser: 6”/15cm of space at the back, 2”/5cm on each side.
6)
If you are not satisfied with the water dispenser performance check if there is enough room around the water
dispenser to provide ample ventilation. When the compressor is working, it is normal for the radiator to be hot.
7)
The thermostat is factory pre-set.
8a) The water bottle may have small pinholes.
8b) The drain plug is not fastened properly. Check that the soft rubber seal of the drain cap is not torn
or damaged.
5 ) The water dispenser
operation is noisy.
6 ) The radiator at the back
of the unit is very hot.
7 ) The cold water is warm.
8 ) Water is dripping out
of the water dispenser
and onto the floor.
