Power connection (back)
Power connector; connects to the power supply
when using AC power.

Battery compartment (back)
Insert and connect a fresh 9V battery for either
backup or primary power. A fresh alkaline battery will
operate the radon monitor for approximately 100
hours while a fresh lithium battery will provide about
300 hours of operation. See

WARNING:
Always install a fresh 9V battery before test or storage
to prevent the internal 3V battery (required for operation) from
discharging.
