to prevent damage to the equipment by static electricity from your body.
Caution –
Always allow 10 seconds between turning off the power and turning it
back on again. This pause prevents possible damage to power supply components.

Connecting the SCSI Cables
The following procedures explain how to install a tape library in a direct connection
to a system, and how to install a tape library in a daisy chain connection with other
external peripherals and a system.
There are six SCSI ports on the back panel of the tape library. Use these connectors to
enable multiple devices to be connected in a series for daisy chained configurations
