1. 

Select a straight, healthy tree without any obstructions 

(branches or limbs).

2.  

Review, read, understand and follow all written and video 

instructions that were provided with your FBFAHS.  If you have 
not read, or do not have these instructions, hunt from the 
ground and 

DO NOT

 use this product. 

3. 

With the climbing aid or climbing sticks properly attached to 

the tree, attach your Lineman’s Belt to your FBFAHS. Using the 
FBFAHS with a Lineman’s Belt and according to its instructions, 
climb up the climbing aid until you reach the height where you 
want to hang the Fixed Position Treestand. 

4. 

Pre-assemble the top and bottom attachment straps prior 

to hoisting the treestand up the tree as shown on 

Page 7,

. Carefully pull up the Fixed 

Position Treestand using a hoist or pull up rope.

 

5. 

Attach the top attachment strap first. Insert the Double J 

Hook into the hanging tab on the far side of the stand.  While 
holding the treestand to the tree with one hand, use the other 
hand to reach around the back-side of the tree and pull the 
top attachment strap around the tree. Insert the other Double J 
Hook into the opposite hanging tab and pull the strap tight as 
shown in 

figure 19

. Secure the loose end of the top belt strap.  

Ensure there are no twists in the strap.  

Double J Hooks must 

attach with flat part against the tree as shown in 

figure 20

WARNING

!

While hanging, climbing into, using or descending 
from any Fixed Position Treestand, a Full Body Fall 
Arrest Harness System along with the supplied 
Lineman’s Belt is mandatory and required.  A FBFAHS 
must be warn and attached to the tree at all times 
after leaving the ground.  

NEVER

 attempt to install, 

use or remove a Fixed Position treestand without 
being stabilized by a Lineman’s Belt.

 use a pull up rope to raise and lower the 

stand.

 climb with anything on your back.

Climbing aids (Stick Ladders, Sectional Ladders, Steps, 
etc... 

MUST EXTEND ABOVE

 the final position of the 

hang-on platform so that the user may step down 
from the climbing aid into the center of the platform.  

ALWAYS

 step down from the climbing aid onto your 

platform.  

NEVER

 attempt to climb up onto a hang-

on platform from a climbing aid mounted below the 
platform.
