9. Troubleshooting

One of the arms of the Visum® Blade LED
Surgical Light system drifts too much.
See Maintenance section of this manual to adjust brake

One of the arms of the Visum® Blade LED
Surgical Light system is too difficult to move.
See Maintenance section of this manual to adjust brake
screws.
One of the light heads tilts when released.
See Maintenance section of this manual to adjust brake
screws.
The camera image looks mostly green/blue/
red.
•
Adjust the White Balance in the camera.
•
Check Monitor Settings.
Camera control does not function but the
camera image is visible.
Verify that Light 1 is connected to Control Port 1 and not
Port 2.
Camera does not transmit an image and
cannot be controlled through the Wall
Control.
•
Make sure that the camera is installed correctly and
then wait 90 seconds before you turn on the camera at
the wall control.
•
Check the power and communication connections.
•
For an HD camera, make sure the decoder assembly is
connected to the video output.
Camera does not transmit an image but can
be controlled through the Wall Control Panel.
Inspect the video connection.
HD Video transmission is not clear.
Make sure that the white cable is hooked into the decoder
box, and not the yellow cable.
