START-UP AND OPERATION [HOT BAR MODELS DP1016H.4764, DP812H.4764 & DP610H.4764]
5. Daily Step-By-Step Procedure
A. At beginning of day, verify that drain is closed. If it is
not, flip the Drain Control Switch to ‘Closed’ (see below).
B. Flip each Heated Well Switch and Auto-Fill Switch to
‘On’ position.
C. If Heated Well Temperature Control Dial is not set at
desired temperature, do so.
D. Insert pans into wells.
E. At end of day, flip all Heated Well Switches to ‘Off’.
F. When Heated Well Switches are in ‘Off’ position,
Auto-Fill is disabled (so water will not run all night)!
G. Then (after items “E” and “F” are complete), open drain
by flipping Drain Control Switch to ‘Open’.
H. Remove pans from heated wells.
I. Clean pans as specified in the
HATCO® HEATED
WELLS - CLEANING GUIDELINES & SCHEDULE
section of this manual .

Merchandiser Start-Up and Operation
1. Power Up Case

Case will energize when properly field-wired.

Caution! Only certified electricians are to field wire!

Illustration below has front “flip-up” panel removed to
show access to dials & switches.
2. Drain Switch

Each set of wells has its own drain switch.

Switch will open and close drain.

See illustration at right for location.
3. Heated Wells Temperature Control Dial

Each Heated Well Temperature Control Dial controls
a different Heated Well.

See illustration below (and at right) for specifics on
which control dial controls each Heated Well.
4. Heated Wells On/Off Switch Control and
Auto-Fill Switch

Each Heated Well has its own On/Off Switch located
under each Heated Well Temperature Control Dial
(see illustration at right).

The Heated Well On/Off Switch below the FAR LEFT
Heated Well Temperature Control Dial is ALSO the
Auto-Fill Switch.

Should you wish to have ONLY the Auto-Fill on,
simply turn the Heated Well Temperature Control Dial
all the way down.

Caution! You must have product in wells prior to
turning on Heated Well switches!

Caution! Heated Wells can get very hot! Use
extreme caution!
