Continued – Block and Tackle
To determine our drill location we will find the closest truss
relative to our “X”.
In this example we will install our block and tackle with the
trusses running left to right. Our trusses are 24” on center.
From our “X” on the ceiling we would measure 1” to the left, to
get the center of our mounting track. We would then drill our
pilot hole in the center of the truss 1” left of the “X”.
From that drill location you would measure back to your “X” to
determine how to mount your track for the block and tackle,
ensuring proper alignment and location.
